The Ashkalit 268 cement panel is a steel-armoured panel with high mechanical strength, excellent durability, and superior thermal and acoustic insulation. It is suitable for various applications, including interior partitions, expulsion shafts, fire partitions, exterior and interior walls for industrialized and lightweight construction, panel ceilings, and load-bearing exterior walls. Panels are made to order in a range of thicknesses, heights, and lengths.

Building with Ashkalit 268 armoured panels is easy, fast, and efficient, helping to shorten construction times and reduce the need for struts and girdles. Panels arrive on-site pre-sized, ready for direct application of finishes like stone cladding, plaster, or paint. They offer high fire resistance, low capillarity to prevent mold and fungi, and emit far less radiation than competing materials. Weighing about a third of similar concrete products, their light weight also reduces structural loading.  

Fire Partitions

Thanks to the exceptional fire resistance of Ashkalit 268 armoured panels, they are used to construct expulsion shafts in residential buildings, thereby helping to protect residents during fires. The panels provide over 3 hours of fire resistance and can be installed without girders for up to 6 meters in height. Construction of expulsion shafts is carried out under the design and supervision of a certified structural engineer.
