Strength
A Lightweight but Strong Block
Despite its lightweight and airy texture, the Ashkalit 268 white block is one of the toughest and most resilient building materials. Tensile and compressive strength tests show that it meets—and even exceeds—the standards requirements. With specially designed anchors, both light and heavy objects can be suspended on the block. Its monolithic structure provides a key advantage by gripping the dowel along its entire length.
Shock and Earthquake Resistance
The block’s low weight reduces the load on the building frame, while its uniform, homogeneous structure makes it more resistant to earthquake shocks and vibrations compared to hollow blocks, which are more prone to fracturing.
